Alex Franchuk
Alex has been wrestling since 2004 and placed 6th at the Senior Provincials when he was 18 years of age making him the youngest fighter in the division. He also placed 4th at the Junior Provincials and was one of the top fighters in Ontario in his University career. He wrestled for Father Bressani Catholic High School, Lexus Titans Wrestling Club, and York University’s Wrestling Club. He also currently trains and competes in Judo in Peel Judo Club under Sensei Vito Maselli and has been competing in Judo since 2008. He coached Lucas Franchuk to be one of the best wrestlers in Ontario along with many other athletes at Father Bressani Catholic High School. He is an enthusiastic teacher and is extremely dedicated to the sport of wrestling and was also the Vice President for York University wrestling in 2009.
Lucas Franchuk
Lucas has been wrestling since 2006 and placed 4th in Ontario in the Juvenile Provincials. He fought for Father Bressani Catholic High School, Lexus Titans Wrestling Club, and York University’s Wrestling Club. He trained several top wrestlers in Ontario at Father Bressani High School and have been coaching wrestling since 2010. He also has a Judo black belt training under Sensei Vito Maselli from Peel Judo Club and has been competing in Judo since 2008. He is a current Judo Instructor at Peel Judo Club. He won many tournaments in both my wrestling and Judo career and has trained many fighters that have shared the same if not better success.
Wagnney Fabiano
Wagnney Silva Fabiano-Santos (born July 14, 1975) is a Brazilian Mixed Martial artist. He is best known for fighting in the WEC, which was owned by Zuffa who also owns the UFC. He used to fight for the Toronto Dragons of the International Fight League and was the final IFL Featherweight Champion. Wagnney is a 4th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) with team Nova Uniao. He also holds a professional MMA record of 15-4-0
Rob Di Censo
Rob began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at age 14. Rob won the 2004 ADCC Canadian trials at 66kg. He placed 4th in the 2005 ADCC world finals after defeating Alberto Crane and Gilbert Melendez. Rob recieved his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Professor Wagnney Fabiano ( IFL- featherweight champion) in 2007 Rob is an IFL veteran with an MMA record of 2-1. Rob is above all a class individual and a great teacher.
Gianfranco Lucente
Began his martial arts training at the age of 10, Gianfranco has been practicing Jiu-Jitsu since 1998. An avid competitor who participates in different tournaments, Gianfranco brings tournament-tested techniques and strategies to his classes. Articulate, passionate, and encouraging, Gianfranco is known to be as gifted an instructor as he is a competitor. The Martial Arts has changed Gianfranco’s life for the better and he’s committed to sharing it with the whole world.
Joey Scardamaglia
From Wrestling to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Joey has been practicing for 18 years. Before being a instructor Joey was an avid competitor for 8 of those years, and now found a passion in instructing. Joey Also has trained along side some of the best fighters in the world Wagnney Fabiano, Leo Santos, Renzo Gracie. Joey also holds a black belt under Wagnney Fabiano.
Domenic Iori
Domenic has been training in the Art of Muay Thai since 2005 in various training grounds. Domenic is dedicated to the sport and has also inspired him to teach and train others. He has recently been granted the title of being a Kru which in the Thai field he is a full fledged Thai Boxing instructor/Trainer. From 2009 till present he has been teaching at a local Thai Boxing School in Woodbridge, Vaughan. His classes are very intense and traditional. His street fighting backgrounds and Thai Boxing combination makes his training very real and versatile. Domenic has just recently added another Martial art to his training Crav Maga under the training of skilled Master Nir Maman with this he hopes to combine all 3 skills and create a controlled form of self-defense. With all his skills and his loyalty to the Art of Muay Thai he hopes that he can help benefit others who are looking into learning self-defense, weight loss and most of help the children with their self esteem.
Gianpaul Callipo
Gianpaul Callipo, brown belt in brazilian jiu jitsu under Wagney Fabiano. Gianpaul has been a dedicated jiu jitsu practisioner for over 16 years. Training alongside some of the best grapplers in the world Gianpaul competed in many wrestling and jiujitsu tournaments in Ontario. After suffering a near fatal motorcycle accident in 2003 GP was forced to give up competition at a young age but dedicates his time at takedown mma to teaching and coaching his passion Brazilian jiujitsu.
